Under water concrete with an open or closed structure. Dyckerhoff Basal Betonmortel b.v. colloidal concrete is suitable for use in flowing water. In order to avoid desegregation, this concrete is composed of adhesive material with a high binding level. It is mainly applied as bank protection material on the Dutch coast and along waterways. However, it is equally suitable for underwater construction floors and for foundations. There are two types of this colloidal concrete. The closed-structure concrete does not allow any water to permeate, while the open type allows water to permeate, and is designed specially for bank protection.
